I'd Love to Chat... with The Luvely Rae

Made in America

The Luvely Rae Season 1 Episode 4

I was born and raised in the U.S.A. and I am not one of those people who hates the place I've always lived in. There are many things that I don't like about how the country's history and about the actions of the 2025 administration; however, I am not ignorant to that fact that the U.S. has the most billionaires in the world and that there are many self-made billionaires and millionaires. There are also a lot of people who choose to do good with that wealth (funding research, conservatories, educational scholarships, investing in cancer research), but there's nothing like having someone call you out on your own "family" sloppiness to really make you think. It's like you invite a friend over to your place for dinner and after an hour they say, "doesn't that arguing ever get on your nerves" and then you realize that the neighbors have been yelling at full volume and you are have been conditioned to only react when you hear something break and think you need to call the police. Yeah. that's what it's like to be born and raised in the U.S. So anyway, let's talk about a little conversation I had with a lovely gentleman from Brazil.
